Lack of consistency in sizing

These shorts used to be great, I have a number of pairs across the lineup. Have tried ordering twice recently and everything is generally smaller than it was previously, and the variation across the same size shorts, of the same model, is noticeable.

Awesome fit

Absolutely love these. I’m 5’9” and they’re the perfect length. Also I don’t have as big legs as the models, but the closure is still fairly narrow. A lot of shorts look baggy on me and leg opening just looks bad. These are good length, high quality, and I really like the slightly more tailored fit

Great short

I like them a lot but the fit me oddly

These shorts are great. The material is sturdier than other shorts, which I appreciate. They aren't "soft" like other gym shorts but that's of course because they are meant to be more abrasion resistant. I am 5'11, 180 with an athletic build and I found the length and waist of the large size to be perfect. However, they fit too closely to my quads but come off my hamstrings in a way I do not prefer. For others it is probably fine. I would give them a shot.

Now I not only feel good, I look good

I was looking for shorts to wear on the bike that weren't biker shorts, you know, those Spandex things. I took a chance -- and my aqua-colored Trek Ripstop Short were perfect! My legs feel great -- and, most importantly, I look great. I guess taking a chance with anything from Barebottom is not really taking a chance after all.

Nice design but they don’t fit true

These look good and luckily I ordered a size up, along with several other items. Even with ordering a size up, they’re a snug fit, where as the other items of the same size fit perfectly or even slightly loose. Overall a C+
