I'm a weekend warrior who spends every possible moment traveling and exploring new national and state parks, and this bag has been the perfect compliment to my collection of adventure gear. From keeping items safe while paddleboarding, to holding my drone and changes of clothes while hiking - this backpack has held up so well in my travels and is my go-to for day trips. Definitely recommend and am thrilled I pulled the trigger on this one!!
Tough bag, used it for kayaking and hiking so far no problems holds enough for good 8-9 hours trip maybe even longer but that's as far as I've gone out
Got this bag in the Olive Green and I am super stoked on it. It fits my back super well and since I always have heavy camera gear on me and am taller, I normally wear my bags a bit tighter to save myself from back pain, and that's where the chest strap comes in handy! It has also proven itself protective against the elements when out hiking in rain and wind as well as when free-diving, it has kept all my gear protected from saltwater and sand. Would recommend to anyone looking for a roomy drybag, only thing is you'll need to get inserts for camera gear if your a creator like myself! Other than that super dope!
Kevin, you're awesome. Thanks for the review!
Lightweight. Holds a ton and get it done all while keeping your stuff dry. ;-)
No doubt you're rocking this, Thomas. Thanks for the review!
*Note* I'd give this 3.5 if it was an option.
I love everything Bearbottom makes, so I was incredibly excited to see they were making a backpack. I'll start with the good, the actually exterior material of backpack is awesome. You can tell it's durable and would work well for all weather conditions. My biggest issue is that for an $85 backpack, there's little to no features, it's basically a giant sack. The straps feel cheap (in comparison to the backpack material), there's no stomach buckle strap (though there is a chest strap) and there's no side pockets or any customization inside the backpack (like a laptop sleeve). It's just a big sack. I think with a few minor changes, this backpack would be awesome. With that said, this thing would be 10x more ideal with a stomach strap, I ride my bike all the time and would love to use this for grocery shopping, etc. as the "boxy" design makes it easier for storing things as opposed to a traditional shaped backpack. I'd even use if for camping if there was more features.
Dylan, we appreciate your feedback and will pass this over to our product development team! Thank you for your review!
