Built for Everyday Adventure

It's not the clothes that inspire us, it's what you do in them.

Our Story

The inspiration for Bearbottom Clothing came in 2012 when I visited Bangladesh for the first time as a high school student. I saw first-hand the need for quality jobs and basic necessities like clothing and returned home with a desire to make an impact.

Growing up on the West Coast of Florida, adventure-ready clothing was essential to my everyday. I wasn't able to find clothes with the features and comfort I needed year-round, so I decided to create them. I realized this was my chance to help the people of Bangladesh, one of the largest apparel-manufacturing countries in the world. I had the opportunity to provide jobs and donate clothing through a buy-one-give-one model.

After over a year of development, Bearbottom Clothing launched in January 2014. Since then, we’ve expanded our team and mission to make the most comfortable and versatile menswear around. As part of our growing mission, we now proudly donate a school meal to a child in India for every item sold.

Our Threads

Everything we make is meticulously wear-tested by our entire team.

While we love having fun at Bearbottom, we take our threads very seriously. We're passionate about making clothes that we're proud to wear every day.

From our stretch fabrics to performance features, our clothes are made to wear well through work, life, and play. Each product is designed so you can focus more on what you're doing and less on what you're wearing.

What We Believe In

Giving Back

As part of our buy-one-give-one model, for every item we sell, we donate a school meal to a child in India. Our customers have helped us donate over one million meals so far. Past initiatives have supported donations of 100,000+ shorts to children in Bangladesh and India, and 275,000+ protective masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand the impact we make and are constantly looking for ways to build our products more sustainably. We've developed products that are made with post consumer-recycled materials, contain natural dyes, and contribute less overall waste. We're persistently moving towards more sustainable practices to minimize our footprint.

Ethical Practices

We’re committed to the well-being of all of our team members, from our worldwide supply chain to our Florida HQ. We’ve built a close relationship with our production partners to go above and beyond industry standards. Our Vendor Code of Ethics is based on internationally recognized labor practices and guidance.
