Great short

I like them a lot but the fit me oddly

These shorts are great. The material is sturdier than other shorts, which I appreciate. They aren't "soft" like other gym shorts but that's of course because they are meant to be more abrasion resistant. I am 5'11, 180 with an athletic build and I found the length and waist of the large size to be perfect. However, they fit too closely to my quads but come off my hamstrings in a way I do not prefer. For others it is probably fine. I would give them a shot.

Now I not only feel good, I look good

I was looking for shorts to wear on the bike that weren't biker shorts, you know, those Spandex things. I took a chance -- and my aqua-colored Trek Ripstop Short were perfect! My legs feel great -- and, most importantly, I look great. I guess taking a chance with anything from Barebottom is not really taking a chance after all.
