I bought the Alto and these (Chino) style shorts both in black to see which one I wanted. I ended up keeping both because they fit great, feel great, and the color black is perfect. I got the M 7in inseam, I'm 5'9 175

These shorts are excellent. Love the stretch at the waist and how it fits my butt. I will be buying more of these soon!

Very nice shorts!!

I wash on tap cold, without bleach, no other clothes in the washer and the color bleeds leaving the shorts a pinkish/orange tint. It’s happened three times even with color catchers the last two times. None of my other clothes do this only these shorts which is a shame because they are comfortable and fit well.

I had previously ordered 3 pair of the stretch short and loved them except the width of the leg openings being too big. After seeing the chino short being described as having a slim fit through the thigh I jumped on them. Unfortunately, this has the same issue of having too large of a leg opening. I have bigger thighs, and these could still do with 2-3" taken off of the opening and still be comfortable. That is what the stretch material is for. The quality is still unmatched, it just feels like I'm wearing short-length baggy shorts.

I was hesitant to purchase these. I finally decided to purchase a 4 pack though and simply put they are probably the best shorts that I've ever owned. Extremely comfortable and the fit is perfect.

I have tried PRL, LLB, CK, TB and MAC W. These Bear Bottoms are the best so far. I have always preferred TB because of the soft brushed feel and an added fiber which makes their shorts very soft. I am 6’6” 240 # and generally wear a size 34 or 35 waist with not much of a butt. My problem with most shorts is they stretch out too much because I don’t have a rear end to keep them up (hate belts on shirts) so I’m always adjusting the buttons so the shorts are tighter. Buying too tight of shorts is uncomfortable; buying my size means I always have to adjust the buttons. I have two boxes of buttons that I generally use for all of my shorts. 🙄 Besides the Mac Weldon, waistbands which are a different style, I have not used elastic waistbands and stayed awzy from it. Bear Bottom shorts are amazing because they don’t look frumpy and they don’t gather. Love the button and zipper fly! Best of all the shorts do not fall down. They stay put even with a cell phone in my back pocket! I’m able to wear a size large and it fits my hip just fine! My only concern is a couple of the shorts seem to be a little bit tighter than others, so there is inconsistency with sizing as many others have said. Also, after washing the stone color pair, only once, the fly crinkled up. I’m not sure if it’s the stitching or the material but it’s all gathered at the fly, which looks not so great and sloppy, it is a slight defect, which is a bummer. With the exception of the stone color shorts, these Bear Bottom shorts are comfortable and terrific, and I have four pair. I wish the Chino stretch would come in the pink as the regular shorts do! Great weight, not paper thin like some others

I love these shorts. They are super comfortable, and the two back pockets are an excellent feature with all the stuff we have to carry these days. I don't think I'll buy any other brand or style of shorts from here on.

Stretch Chino Short

After literal years of searching, I’ve finally found the perfect shorts! I’ve tried several other very popular brands and these are the first that finally have fantastic quality and a great fit! I immediately bought one of every color.

These are the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn. I used to get all my shorts from Lands End, but after a few years of sitting on rough surfaces the shorts started showing wear on the seats. My oldest pair of these shorts is over three years old and still looks brand new.

I ordered the stretch chino shorts, 5.5" length, and they are great. The fabric is a slightly thicker than some of the other chino shorts I’ve had, which makes them feel more durable. The construction seems solid, and the material is very comfortable. The waistband stretches and fits nicely.

Fit, look and comfort all exceed expectations. They are so versatile I can wear them to the beach, to work, and all day around the house.

Bear Bottom always comes through

This is my first order of the stretch, Chino. I love the dual pockets in the back without any flaps fits absolutely perfect as normal. I ordered one in the wrong size. Of course an exchange is always super easy with these folks. If you haven’t tried them I highly recommend it probably have 20 pair between the two houses.

So far I love them. They hold up well in the wash, are the perfect length for my build. The stretch waist is comfortable. Highly recomend!

Leg opening of the shorts are 11"...Eleven inches! I've been accused of owning chicken legs, but my thighs are 7" and do not fill that opening in the least. Cavernous is the word that comes to mind. The fit around the waist is good, and the shorts are comfortable. Just don't feel like floating away in a large wind gust. Glad I only bought one pair. O wherefore Eubi art thou?
