I took a gamble on these shorts 3 years ago, and haven’t looked back since! These are my husband’s favorite pair of shorts ever. He refuses to wear anything else now. He likes the 5.5 length. He’s 6ft and anywhere between 210-215 lbs. he loves the stretch and how breathable the shorts are. In total I think he has 8 pairs and we will probably order every color. He wears the shorts through the summer and we have yet to have any tips or tears (minus a button falling off). I think they look great on him! We highly recommend BearBottom shorts!

These shorter shorts give more freedom for hiking and even just walking.

I wore these for one season and they are really comfortable and look great. By the end of that season they had faded a ton - the blue shorts had layers of pink in them and the gray shorts had really whitened on the thighs. Happened a year or two ago but reminded me when I recently had to toss em!

I own four pair of these shorts now. The first two pair I bought (several years ago) fit good and after I laundered them they fit great. The two new pair I bought not so much. Purchased the Dark Maroon and the Cocoa. The Cocoa pair were WAY bigger than the Maroon and the Maroon pair are a little bigger than my first two pair. So the sizing/QA process has changed. As you can see in the pics they are both labeled Medium, but if I line up the outside seams of both pair on one side, the opposite side does not align and exposes wider cut of material, resulting in a blousy fit. Unfortunately, I laundered them hoping they'd snug up like my previous pairs did so I cannot return them.

I’m 6’2’’ 250 pounds, wearing the XL-polar white in 7in . Normal long pants I wear a 34 inseam length. This might give a idea where these lay on the thigh. Top Quality Shorts, prefect material weight.

My husband and I are both transmasc and we swear by these. I LOVE the seasonal colors! I have several pairs in XXL in both lengths. They look and fit great! My husband tailored his to be more of a hugging fit. But if you're not super picky about that, they're great as is. I attached a picture of my in the XXL 7" inseam pink stretch shorts. As you can see, they don't hug your leg all the way down, but I don't mind. SUPER comfy.

Wow! Super comfortable! It fits me nicely and I believe it makes me look ****. I like the shortness in length. It feels great. I am going to buy more.

There's too much I can say about these shorts, but I'll do my best to keep this review "short" and concise. The color matches the selections you pick and aren't watered down. Many times a color on the website may not match the product you actually receive, but in this case; it does. The fit of the shorts stay close enough to your body to look styled, but enough separation that you doesn't feel constrained. Overall, these shorts are both quality and affordable. You can tell by the feel that it isn't cheap fabric and you'll be hard-pressed to find competitor brands that match this style at the same price.

Got these shorts almost two years ago. Haven’t had issues until the last several months when the pockets just started falling apart. It were a minor tear then I could’ve sewed it, but the pockets are fully blown open and I can’t put anything in them. The shorts are essentially unwearable.

This is clearly a defect because it’s happened across all three pairs. I contacted support and they gave me a measly 15% off code. What a joke. I have to spend $120+ every 1.5 years to enjoy these?

Look elsewhere.

The shorts feel great and they looked great out of the box. But after the first wash I feel like I need to iron them to get all of the wrinkles out and the back pocket flap. Even when I take them out of the dryer immediately. If it weren’t for this issue I would have given them 5 stars.

These things fit great. I’m 6 foot 5 250lbs so I wasn’t sure if the 5.5 inseam would be too short. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a longer size. These hug my butt cheeks nicely and show off the quads spectacularly. The elastic waistband is nice , too. I went ahead and ordered 3 more pairs. Let those legs breathe boys don’t be scared!

Thought they might be too big and too long. I like shorter shorts. These are perfect and I'm gonna order in another color or two. I'm 6'2" and usually wear a 34" waist. I got the large in 5.5" length and they're just right.

They look good and fit great but the zipper is bad quality. 2/3 pairs I bought have ruined zippers and I can't wear them anymore. Won't purchase again until they get that figured out.

I bought these for my bf after I saw an ad on Facebook. We both fell in love with them. He says the shorts are so much better than the shorts he’s used to. He was a little concerned before we got them about the shorter length but he said they aren’t too short.

I think he looks hot in them. We ended up buying more colors after this. Btw these are the 5.5s. Perfect length 👌🏾

Hands down the best active/casual shorts I have ever owned in my whole life!!! They are perfectly loose and comfortable around the thighs and do not restrict any of your movements - if you are a very active person. This could even be the shorts you can workout in!

I wear 36 x 34 pants so I went with the 7 inch XL. I was a little surprised to be considered XL as I wear medium shirts. The waist of the shorts fits just fine. I wish the legs were a little more tapered. I don't have muscular thighs and they're baggier than expected. I think the chino short would be better for me but I wanted the olive color.

The shorts was comfortable and fits perfectly. Soft, breathable and good for nature or summer weather.

Since high school (20 years ago) I’ve worn XL shorts in spite of my waist fluctuating from 32-36” through the years.

Having muscular thighs and a bubble rear-end… has always made it difficult to fit shorts that don’t constrict the boys. In traditional fabric kakhi shorts, as the seat gets tight (while sitting or stepping) the short gets pulled back making it very uncomfortable. It causes me to have to buy shorts too baggy and over sized.

These bare bottom shorts are awesome. The stretch in the seat and thighs allows me to wear shorts that look more tailored (still XL bc I still have the 36/38 waist).

I bought one pair to test size, washed and dried and ordered 2 more pairs. Also it’s nice the fabric looks and feels like traditional kakhi/cotton vs having the tech fabrics we’ve had to use to get the stretch.
